Guidelines for creating a positive and respectful school community
All communication with staff, other parents, and students should be respectful, constructive, and solution-focused. Please use appropriate channels for concerns and feedback.
When on school grounds, parents are expected to model appropriate behavior, including following safety protocols, keeping noise levels appropriate, and supervising younger siblings.
Please refrain from posting photos of other children without permission, sharing confidential school information, or engaging in negative commentary about the school or its community online.
Please follow designated routes, park considerately, and adhere to timing guidelines to ensure safety and minimize disruption to neighbors and traffic flow.
We welcome parent involvement in school events. Please follow event-specific guidelines, volunteer appropriately, and support the inclusive nature of our school community.
If concerns arise, please address them directly with the appropriate staff member or use our formal complaint procedure. Avoid discussing issues with other parents or children.
The school reserves the right to limit access to school premises for any individual whose behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the school community.
Important safety and security information for all families
Ensure your emergency contact details are always current. Update any changes immediately through the school office or parent portal.
All external doors are locked during school hours. Use the main entrance and report to reception. Visitors must sign in and wear identification badges at all times.
Children will only be released to authorized adults listed on our system. Photo ID may be required. Alternative arrangements must be communicated in writing or by phone to the school office.
Staff are trained in first aid and emergency procedures. For serious medical conditions, ensure the school has current action plans and medications as required.
Regular fire drills are conducted. In case of alarm, follow staff instructions immediately. Do not re-enter the building until given all-clear by emergency services.
We teach internet safety as part of our curriculum. Please reinforce these lessons at home and monitor your child's online activities appropriately.
If you notice anything suspicious on or around school premises, please report it immediately to the school office or contact local authorities if urgent.
In case of school closure due to emergency, updates will be posted on our website, sent via email/text, and announced on local radio stations.

Guidelines that help create our positive learning environment
We expect all students to treat teachers, staff, visitors, and fellow students with kindness, courtesy, and respect at all times.
Students should arrive ready to learn, participate actively in lessons, complete homework on time, and help maintain a quiet, focused classroom atmosphere.
Full school uniform must be worn correctly every day. Hair should be neat and tidy. Jewelry is limited to small stud earrings and watches.
Personal devices are not permitted during school hours. School technology must be used responsibly and only for educational purposes under staff supervision.
Students must follow all safety instructions, walk quietly in corridors, keep hands and feet to themselves, and report any concerns to staff immediately.
Regular attendance is essential. Students should arrive on time, ready for registration at 8:30 AM. Absences must be reported by 9:00 AM.
We celebrate good behavior through our house point system, achievement certificates, and special recognition assemblies. Every effort to follow our school values is acknowledged.
If students struggle to meet expectations, we work closely with families to provide appropriate support and intervention strategies.
